Chick Flick For Tenille

On Saturday, October 30th 2010, Tennille, was a 25 year old, socially active mother of a 6 year old son, Jayven, and an avid netball player. That evening & night she was babysitting her 4 nephews, the sons of her older sister. The last thing she remembers is having dinner with them.
Heading for home alone the following morning, Sunday, October 31st 2010, at about 10:20am she was involved in a high speed motor vehicle accident and was trapped in her car, critically injured, and about to face an imminent death. Two heroic women climbed into her petrol filled wreck and administered CPR to keep her alive. Two days later, Tuesday, November 2nd 2010, still in a deep coma and clinging to life in the Alfred Hospital, Tennille turned 26 years of age. Trauma specialists at both the Alfred and Austin Hospitals say they do not know of anyone with Tennille’s injuries who has left an accident scene alive. She beat all the odds to survive, but is a ventilator dependent quadriplegic reliant on 24/7 care. A mother’s love for her son has been a mighty powerful driving force.
