I am solely inspired by my family and friends. Having an opportunity to work with these chicks around me in order to make a difference to peoples lives is truly a privilege and it puts a smile on my face everyday that we can give emotional (and financial) support to people that are experiencing a hard time. I have learnt so much and am looking forward to our future.
Janelle Hingmann - Vice President
There is no better way to raise money for those in need than with a wonderful bunch of women who I love to be around! Chicks for Charity gives me the opportunity to give back to our community, laugh a lot and instill the value of 'giving' in my children & those around me.
PS: I also love the late nights & chats!"

I love being a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, wife, mum and juggling a career. My work..life..balance is greatly enhanced by being achick. It is amazing being part of this friendship group of exceptional women and even better is being able to work together to offer support and help to those we can. It is so rewarding.
Kim Rawlings - Corporate Community Partnerships Manager
It all started one night over a few glasses of bubbles with a group ofwomen motivated to give back and make a difference in our community.......it was at that point that I knew this was the start of something amazing. This group of amazing women and beautiful friends now make up the Chicks for Charity Foundation Committee. Many of us in CFC have been touched by tragedy and have been the recipients of generosity and support from our friends, family and community, we know how much of an impact even the smallest gesture can make.I feel so incredibly blessed and humbled to be part of Chicks for Charity.
Carmel Ricci - Administration
My involvement with CFC is not only very rewarding but incredibly enjoyable. I am very proud to be a part of such an insprirational group of women. To see the look of gratitude on the faces of those we support is truly overwhelming and
humbling.

We have been able to give to those that need a little help, both immediately and directly so that they can benefit in the way that best suits their situation. Our lives have been forever enriched by the people we have met and continue to meet along this journey. I realise that we can make a difference and I love that my children will know this too.
Melissa Hilton - Committee Member
I feel so blessed that together with 12 other women we had a dream to start a charity that raised funds for people who needed a little help and that dream became a reality in 2008 when Chicks for Charity Foundation was formed. We have come together through our own loss or sadness and know how sometimes it's just something little that can make a big difference to someone going through a tough time. Getting together is always interesting lots of strong opinions, great ideas, a few tears but mainly lots of laughs. It's been so rewarding for me and I thank my family for supporting me.

I am so fortunate to have met a wonderful bunch of women, who have become incredible friends and now make up Chicks for Charity. The feeling I get every time we are able to help someone within our community is nothing less than amazing. Working as a nurse, I see vulnerable people faced with diversity everyday so to personally be able to give back to some of these brave people within our community, is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done

During a difficult time in my life I was a recipient of support – both emotional and financial, I know how important it is and what a difference it makes when times are tough. This drives my passion behind wanting to give back to those in need. Chicks for Charity started as an idea which has grown into more than an excuse to catch up with my girlfriends. It is a huge privilige to be able to make a difference in people’s lives.
